If you have a paid subscription, you must first cancel your paid subscription. This is extremely important, so that the plan is cancelled and payments will not continue. If you typically use the app on your desktop or mobile device, you should know that deleting the app from these devices does not cancel your subscription, or delete your account.

Deleting the app from a device will simply uninstall and delete the application. Your account and subscription will be unaffected. If you want to cancel a paid subscription and revert back to the Basic free plan, you can do so at any time. If you want to delete your account altogether, you will need to cancel your paid subscription first. Follow the steps below to cancel a paid Zoom subscription.

Click the Account Management drop-down on the left side menu, and then click Billing. Your Zoom subscription will be unaffected. Deleting a Basic free Zoom account can be done at any time. This will permanently delete your account, so make sure you want to delete it before following through. Paid users must cancel their subscription prior to deleting their account. This will launch your web browser and automatically navigate to the Zoom website.

Here, you will be prompted to enter your Zoom username and password. Upon logging in, you should be automatically brought to the Billing section of your Zoom profile. On this page you will see the Zoom plans you are currently subscribed to.

Each plan will display information, such as the billing period, next invoice date, invoice amount and the status of the plan. Doing so will launch a pop-up box that provides the ability to reconsider. When you cancel your premium Zoom subscription, you will still be able to use the free version of the app.

Upon cancelling your premium account, those recordings will be removed from the Zoom servers. On the following page you will see all of the recordings that you have made. Underneath the thumbnail preview of each recording you will see the option to download that recording. Simply click on it to download the recording to your computer. If you were using Zoom for business purposes, your Zoom subscription may be tax deductible. To download your past invoices, follow the steps outlined above to log in to your account on the Zoom website.
